Where Every Resident Is Family

At Mulberry Court we genuinely care about the happiness and well-being of all our residents. We look upon every one as a family member, and that principle shapes everything we do.

Purpose-built and opened in November 2015, Mulberry Court was designed from the ground up to provide modern, comfortable care. Forty-three single bedrooms are spread across two floors with full lift access, and every detail of the building was planned around the people who would live here.

Under the leadership of Registered Manager Joanne Bruce, our team delivers friendly, thoughtful care at all times with respect for each individual. From residential and nursing care to specialist dementia support and palliative care, we offer a breadth of services that means residents rarely need to move if their needs change.

From Strength to Strength

Every care home faces challenges. What matters is how you respond. Mulberry Court's journey from its earliest CQC inspection to achieving Outstanding for Responsive care is a story of relentless commitment to getting things right.

When early inspections identified areas for improvement, the team did not make excuses. They made changes. New leadership, stronger governance, better training, and an unwavering focus on what residents actually need drove a transformation that the CQC itself recognised as exceptional.

Today, the Outstanding rating for Responsive care is not just a badge. It reflects a culture where feedback is acted upon, care plans are genuinely personalised, and every resident's voice matters.
